Me and Erik!

Once upon a time there were two kids named Erik and LaceyAnd these two kids decided to go and be charitable by feeding the hungry ducks at Nature Park

The ducks were sure hungry, and Lacey was slightly nervous about being attacked

And she had good reason to be, becuase she got BIT! by a goose! The gray one in the picture below, turning its head with that look of "here I come to bite you again!"

But even though it hurt, the ducks got fed, and they had a good time. :)

Christmas tree number two!

Well today, November 23rd 2010, a huge blizzard came storming through Blackfoot Idaho, leaving Mom, Dad, and I in the house with not much to do, so naturally we decided to put up another Christmas tree! Here's how it all happened!
This is what the living room looked like before we got started

Then we started slowly putting the tree together branch by branch!

Mom was the designated tree putter-togetherer/lighter.....

and Dad and I were the designated branch shaperers! :)

This is the Christmas Tree once we had shaped all of the branches and gotten the lights on. :)
Here we are putting the rose lights onto the tree, the rose lights are by far my favorite part of the whole tree! They're just so pretty!

And here's the tree after the rose lights have been put on!

And the finished project! It really is one of the prettiest trees I've ever seen! :)

All in all the snowday turned out WONDERFUL! We got the tree up, and had a great time doing it! Life is good and I am SO grateful to be home for this Christmas season!

It's Christmas Time!!!!

On Saturday, November 13, 2010, Chirstmas time in the Stokes house began. Even though it was still the middile of November, due to the fact that Lacey had been on her misison the previous year and that Nathan, Andrea, Madison, Ellen, and Bradley weren't in Idaho, Lacey and her Mom decided to start the holidays a bit early this year, and so they did. They started by putting up the new Christmas Tree in the new adition to the Stokes home. Then they had to decorate the plain ornaments they had boughten to liven them up so that they would look ravishing on the Christmas tree. These are the ornaments before....

And After!

and after a couple hours of decorating, here is the finished result!

All in all it turned out to be a WONDERFUl day!

Well what to say! This is my third or fourth attempt at having/maintaing a blog, and I think I might actually succeed! I'm not really sure why I want to make one so bad, my facebook is pretty up to date, but I am, so we'll see where it goes! To the left is my wonderful family, minus the two cutest additions! I am the proud of aunt of Lil' Oliver and the princess Madison, and I absolutley love and adore them! I am so excited for Christmas and can hardly wait to get the holidays started!
